My wife and I started a business called Ava Gowns — a dress-obsessed start-up — from scratch. In just over a year, we built a brand with more than 200k followers on TikTok and Instagram combined, and continue to sell out at every launch. Running this start-up has helped me not only use my advertising skills, but also focus on customer relationships, supply chain management, manufacturer solutions, taxes, and more. This business has taught me to have a holistic approach to problem-solving in a completely new way.
